Montecalvo, Lux and Figge to Represent
Genoa Racing in Saturday's
Petit Le Mans at Road Atlanta

BRASELTON, Ga., Sept. 30
- Three young American drivers will try to record
Genoa Racing's fifth LMPC podium finish of the year in the American Le Mans
Series presented by Tequila Patron Saturday in the 13th annual Petit Le Mans
Powered by Mazda2 at Road Atlanta Motorsports Park.

The 10-hour/1,000-mile season finale will be covered live on SPEED
beginning at 11 a.m. Eastern time.

The trio at the controls of the Zionsville, Ind.-based team's bright green
Oreca FLM09 No. 36 for this event are 19-year-old Frankie Montecalvo of
Highlands, N.J.; 22-year-old Eric Lux of Williamsville, N.Y. and 27-year-old
Alex Figge of Denver.

Figge has competed in this race once before, as he finished seventh in the
GT2 class in a Tafel Racing Ferrari in 2008. Montecalvo and Lux are making
their first starts in this particular event. Figge and Lux are making their
first start with Genoa Racing too. Montecalvo, one of the youngest drivers in
professional endurance sports car racing, is making his fourth start with
the team.

Although this is Genoa Racing's first season in the American Le Mans
Series, it is third in the LMPC team point standings going into this race. In
addition to its four class podium finishes it has two other top-five finishes
in class so far this year. The team's best finish this year to date is
second in class and fourth overall at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca in Salinas,
Calif., May 22.

Genoa Racing is again running as a sister team to Green Earth Team Gunnar
this weekend, and it has that team's sponsors on its car. They are G-Oil,
Bayshore Recycling and the Zais Group.

All three of Genoa Racing's drivers realize that being patient and staying
out of trouble are paramount in such a grueling and long race, but all three
are very excited about their chances on Saturday.

"It will be my first time in the Petit Le Mans, and I am very excited,"
said Montecalvo. "I have only raced at Road Atlanta once before, about a year
ago, in a BMW street car in an SCCA event. It was one of my first races.
I'm looking forward to Saturday!"

"I am very excited to have the opportunity to race for Genoa Racing in its
LMPC car!" said Lux. "This will be my first time racing for Genoa Racing
and my first time in the Petit Le Mans. I have driven the circuit in the past
for coaching events and in other series, however. I am confident that with
Genoa Racing's reputation and my fellow teammates, Alex Figge and Frankie
Monteclavo, we will all be a real threat in the LMPC class to contend for a win
at this historic race.

"I am looking forward to adding this race to my resume to complement the
other endurance races I have competed in," Lux added. "I have to thank Ari
Straus at Monticello Motor Club for being my primary sponsor for this event.
Monticello Motor Club will have many guests present, and it would feel great
to end the season strong with their logo on the car!"

Figge, who even has some Champ Car experience on his bio, competed in the
LMPC class with PR1/Mathiasen Motorsports in two races this year and he
finished on the podium in both of them. He was third in class at Miller
Motorsports Park in Tooele, Utah in July and second in class at Lime Rock Park in
Lakeville, Conn., in August. He even set the fastest lap of the race for the
class at Lime Rock.

"I've only raced at Road Atlanta once before in the 2008 Petit Le Mans, and
I'm thankful for the opportunity to run with Genoa Racing this weekend,"
Figge said. "I think it's a great class, and Genoa has an awesome car. It's
a long race but I think we'll be right there."

The team is already at Road Atlanta practicing. Qualifying for the LMPC
class is slated for 3:50 p.m. Eastern time on Friday, and the green flag is
set to drop at 11:15 a.m. Eastern time Saturday morning.

In addition to SPEED's live coverage, additional live coverage is planned
for the Internet at americanlemans.com and imsaracing.net.
